Can SCiO be used to determine Caffeine levels?

Last Updated: Apr 10, 2017 05:44AM UTC
While we haven't yet experimented with caffeine ourselves, using SCiO for the analysis of liquid beverages is likely to be feasible, as long as the concentration of caffeine is 1% or higher in the beverage. A corresponding data collection will need to be created, relevant models tested and created and the corresponding SCiO apps built.

In addition, as SCiO is currently designed for the scanning of solid samples, a liquid sampling accessory (currently offered only for developers) will be required in order to sample.

This model may be developed in the future either by us or by a member of the SCiO developer community using our SCiO Development Tool Kit.  The DevKit enables users to create their own data collections, models and SCiO mobile apps.
