My SCiO doesn't connect to my smartphone

Are you using a supported smartphone?

Apple Devices
iPhones 5, 5c, 5s, 6, 6 plus, 6s, 6s plus and above.
iPad 3 and above.
iPad air (all versions).
iPad mini (all versions).
Operating System
iOS version 8 and above.
Android Devices
Android Device with Bluetooth® Low Energy 4.0 (also known as Bluetooth® Smart), and above.
Operating System
Android version 4.3 and above.
Additional Requirements
Internet connection

Is the Bluetooth on?
Can it be seen in the connection screen (identify by name)?
What happens when you try to connect? Does the indication LED blink quickly and then turns on constantly? If yes, what happens next?
